At least the herring are. Went to the Brewster herring run this weekend and holy crap they were thick. I’ve never seen them this thick, and heard that some of the other runs were the same. I guess the ban has been working and pretty sweet to see. Not as sweet as it would have been to be there last year when my brothers kiddo fell face first into the big pool at top of the run (and was unfazed in typical Brado fashion).
Either way, great to see and a few Headhunt veterans down south - Ben in Westport - and Tria in RI – have already landed some schoolies, so it’s showtime. Getting the shirts ready – need to make them epic (and more than a few hours before the tourney so we can make sure there aren’t any screw ups – this time). If anyone has ideas on images, slogans, etc. let us know – but I’ve contacted our old designer and am going to just have him draw up the Burnie brothers brawling for the back image – if it will fit (sound of high fives).
Lastly, what the deuce is going on with the new Chatham cut? Is it real? My city living ass has seen some pics, but then heard some rumors that it wasn’t passable – then heard the opposite. What is the real story? Could be a game changer for the summer.
Will start posting more leading up to the tourney, but send in any blogs you want posted and start spreading the word – we need some prizes in a big way this year since we lost our Puma hook up and are working on reels again but could use some help if anyone has any good connections, or names, we should reach out to.
