The clock is ticking, and we still need some of the teams to pay up – there is a lot of talk but not a lot of action yet so get your money in.  There was some good talk at the Hot Stove the other night, and Harry Cordorouy esq. was rumored to be in the place (talking about his secret spots while getting hit on by a 55 year old cougar and her 20 year old minx of a daughter – not bad at all).

The 400 Club is also geared up for the after party and the dinner we had that night was awesome, so looking forward to tearing the roof off of that place while eating some good food on Saturday.  We also have all the prize packages in place, so if boats don’t start ponying up, there could be some serious loot at play for only a few boats.  If not, we can just divide up the entry fees and buy scratch tickets.

The reports on Monomoy are still pretty slow, and there are already rumors of boats bailing on the south side and hitting the Race with the hopes of finding a keeper striped ass, and maybe a few fish too.  Strategy is going to be crucial this and there will be a lot of scouting taking place this week, so if anyone sends me some good numbers this week, I’ll just rig the tourney so you win.  Thanks in advance.

There was some good fishing chatter in the Hot Stove on Saturday. The Burke Bros. appear to be a formidable opponents. We were continuously interrupted by a top notch Cougar and her hot college daughter, but that wasn't a bad thing. It is on like Donkey Kong for Saturday, the Wizard will be pulling out of the harbor under the cover of darkness with Corduroy, Jeremy and the Golden One locked and loded.

We are coming into the final few days before the tourney and the talk is much more serious this week than it has been.

It is rumored that Mike O. and a few of his crew will be heading out on the Arlie Ex saturday which has raised the competition a bit even though most people out this way seem to be sort of unsure as to where the good numbers of big bass are hangin out right about now. No one is sharing any info or definite strategies so it looks like fishing teams could be much more spread out this year.

“How are teams going to play thier cards this year?”

Does one head east or west or south and/or how far east and south? It could be all in for some of us as the location of big bass right now is so uncertain.

The wrong move and you could be in big trouble fast with your next option being more than a few rips or ledges away!

I know that team “Wild Goose” looks like it will be making a game day decision that could have us running in complete opposite directions depending on our bet.

More importantlly, myy bro and I also met the “Wizard” this past weekend and he looks like a true contender due to his focus and overall vision to succeed .....or he is at least going to go down having the best experience possible.

Tim and Jack from the “Stove” need to pull it together and take a few tips from the WIZARD before they are admired as true contenders and the off Cape boyz better be trembling by now as there are too many good reasons to be panicking.

Too much underground discussion and strategy talk going around without enough of the bet placing. We have a good line up of teams who are already in and paid, yet we need more entry fees from teams who I know are going to be in on this thing last minute.

We are going to keep the betting gates open as long as possible although we need to lock up spots in the next few days. SO, pay the more than fair $100 soon so we can get it all out on the table as to who is in and who is going to bag out and fold in fear?

I am also picking up some more 2xl T’s tommorrow and we have plenty more ready to roll for $15 each so call me at 774.487.0612 for any orders or if you want me to come by and collect your entry fee?

It is go time fishing TEAMS so let’s Go!!!!!!!!!!!

It%u2019s just over 24 hours until go time and the shenanigans have officially begun.

The Brothers Burke talk a great game. If you ask them about why they stared the Headhunt they will mention family, friendship, comrodery, and community.

Well I for one believed them. I bought into it hook, line and sinker. I was inspired by their vision of not just this tournament, but of the future%u2026%u2026..our culture%u2026%u2026..our humanity. I thought that they were genuine, sincere and poised to try and change the world.

Then came this afternoon when The Brothers Burke bribed one of our crew members to leave our team and join the Wild Goose crew.

Now I haven%u2019t talked to Traitor Tria yet, but I%u2019m guessing they got him to jump our ship selling the same old brand of bullshit that they used to get me to believe in the dream%u2026%u2026a dream that is now dead.

Panic aboard Wild Goose and inside the Burke camp!!!!!!!!!!

Our hosts have entered into full on panic mode. Just hours before kicking off their own tourney, the Burke sisters got together and apparently realized that they don't have a single fisherman aboard their boat and began plundering other boats for anglers. In a move slightly less classy than shitting on the Thanksgiving table, they realized that Sea Fever was so stacked with able men, that they needed to do something. The following was recorded yesterday afternoon:

Sean, "Hey Ryan, Rob just bailed on us, which means that only me, you and dad are aboard The Goose. How the hell are we gonna find Monomoy now?"

Ryan, "Shit, sis, that's a great point. And who the HELL is gonna put the eels on the hooks. I'm sure as hell not gonna touch one of those things. They're gross and slimy. You do it."

Sean, "Uhhh, well, uhh, I uhh, gotta steer the boat. Sorry, I can't. Goddamn it! Why did dad have to raise us to be such sorry little girls?!?!?!"

Ryan, "Wait, I got it. Sea Fever is already poised to dominate this thing. What if we tried to steal one of their anglers at the last second? That would improve our odds and leave them scrambling. I've made a career out of doing this at work, let's try it on the water!"

Sean, "Great idea, sis!!!! I'll start making calls. Dave Tria has always been a man whore, I'm sure he'll jump ship if we offer him some Schlitz and year old beef jerky!"

Sea Fever will still dominate. She could win this thing on auto pilot.

Listen ramrods, the Sea Fever has caught a total of 5 keepers, ever. The boat is too small for 4 guys and it's not our fault that 48 hours before gametime you have two of your crew members bail. Before her first striper tourney and the capt of Sea Beaver is talking about bringing tuna gear (which you don't own) onto your 15 ft skiff in case you catch a monster bass early.

Put the bong down.

We will have a 50 pound bass and a 200 pound bluefin on board by 8 am.

Count on it.

The Sea Fever is not rated to handle anything more than Ethan and one other mid-range guy so we are just trying to save lives here. Tria also did not feel like tuna fishing this sat and he wanted to touch a rod other than the ones the Sea Fever boyz were going to be trying to stick in his face all day.

GO TEAM GOOSE!!!

Team Escape will launch the 23 ft. Mako "Escaped" with Capt. Rob at the helm and Bob Marley on the Bose...

We are gearing up at this time to both catch fish and not have bad breath after puking from too much scotch.

How can "team Burke" host a fishing tourney with no boat. It is possible that I think they are going to take the money and run to P-town!

They should name their new boat "buns up"!!
