Spring is in full swing and the bait and the fish are here early, as predicted.
This site is all about Striper fishing and the best Striped Bass Fishing tournament on Cape
Cod. The older I get the more I need this tournament, even though the older I get the harder it is to keep the fishing dreams alive. The tuna will inevitable crush our dreams later in the season but once again, I am thinking about winning our own tourney—for the first time. Spring brings adrenaline and inner fire to get out and make it all happen. .
Unless you are of course TRIA our JACKAL team member. Team Jackal is adding two new members to the team this year—a practical move that will allows us to have more moving parts. In addition, Nick at design disorder is helping us come with another cool t-shirt design, Karen at ESP tees is waiting in the wings for her order, and we also hope that Heather at Hammerhead Creatives will be able to get back involved this year to help us out. It looks like a new 34 seavee is getting prepped for a run at this year’s tourney with Ernie and Jeff in full outfitting mode. Will Corduroy and T. Lewis dare make a run again? It would be so sad if these two freak shows just slip away until middle aged abyss like so many seem to these days. I am sure that Matt Newman will be back as the Menace of Dennis is true inspiration to how one
can make it happen on the water while balancing so many other responsibilities.
And…before I go let’s all give a tribute to the late fishing legends Tom Barker and the “Tuna Eclipse” and Jose Wejebe “Spanish Fly”.
