Another day, another picture of Charlotte checking out some big bass her father caught. Not bad for two weekends in a row out at Race Point. This Father's Day weekend - 3 boats made their way out of Plymouth Harbor - including tourney veteran Capt. Rob on the Charlotte E, and new tourney entrants Bzdel and Marcus joining Team Jackal member Capt Ethan. Sounds like there was some typical miscommunication between the boats on where to set up after picking up mackerel at the Gurnet.
Two boats hit the Race, and Ethan/crew went around to Peaked Hill. Sounds like that was the move. All 3 boats had success - two fish with Charlotte above are from the Race - but sounds like Peaked Hill was straight fire. The boys had their first fish 30 seconds after dropping their first mack overboard, and got over 30 keepers, including the hog 35 lber below.

Most years, a 35 lber would win the Headhunt - although last year we had 3 40 lb fish at the top of the leaderboard. We will be analyzing every scale of this fish to make sure we don't see it frozen and show up again at the Land Ho on July 25th! Just kidding, but good on the boys from Plymouth. Of course I flew back from a week in CA, with my boy breaking his arm while away, and had to bail out of the trip last second which serves me right.
Word on the street the Burnie boys made their way to the Race as well with a boatload of macks and came up empty. Team Jackal member = 30 fish. Burn bros = 0. You do the math.

Two other Team Jackal members hit the Fluke Til Ya Puke tourney in Rhody this year. Ended up with 80 lbs of fluke but nothing for the trophy. Either way, seems like Burke brothers are the ones who need to get our asses out there and put up some numbers.
New t-shirts are ready - heather blue with green. Similar logo to last year, but the shirts are sweet - look much better in person actually and probably highest quality shirt we've had to date. If you want any extras - put them on your forms - you will want them.
