Good news. Reached out to a few companies over the past few weeks and have been getting some great responses. The folks at Yeti Coolers sent a package of hats to support the tourney. They also offered a 30% discount to buy their coolers - which are sweet - but still too rich for a tourney like ours. We will get them someday. Either way, huge thanks to an awesome brand for sending over a few things and we will get them some shirts. Also, reached out to Sport Fishing Magazine - one of the best fishing reads out there. They sent over a few free annual subscriptions which we will also be giving away. Love it!

Now to the fishing. Our boy Tria on fan favorite Team Jackal got his first keeper of the season this week down in Rhody. Also heard the canal exploded tonight - and 3 members of Team Jackal will be there at 4 am tomorrow so stay tuned. If anyone has any other reports, shoot them over. I plan on doing a little city fishing this weekend - will let you know if the Mystic River or the North End produce anything - doubtful.
Lastly, get your registrations in - need to start cranking. We also may need another charter or 2 for some Boston based folks. These are goofballs who don't fish much, but will want to have a few beers, have a good time and try to win - so if you know any rock star charter captains let me know.
Hitting Disney next week with the family - and in laws - so if you don't hear from me it's because I've gone Leaving Las Vegas after 90 degree days trapped with Mickey and my in laws.
