Before we get to the fishing, sounds like one of the hardcore Headhunters is tying the knot, and having a kiddo - nice work - who knew the big cat lover had it in him? Congrats and might as well cut costs and hold your reception July 19th at the Land Ho in Harwich!
We are now in July and officially counting down. We have new t-shirt production management after some serious employee HR issues in the Burke family so shirts will be made early this year so get your registrations in asap. We won't have many extra shirts to buy at the party.
How has the fishing been? Last week my brother and I took the Jackal out for a quick run w/ the kiddos - black sea bass were all over the sound and we took a quick peek at the rips and saw some early fish but nothing of size. That was a week ago so who knows. I will be in Plymouth the next week trying to get out on the bayside if anyone is in town and wants to hit that up - and may be down the Cape for a day or so next week to get another practice run in w/ the Jackal. If anyone has any other reports, send them in - another headhunter - Rob - sent in a pic from the east end of the canal today of an absolute slob that someone he knows caught.
I'll get on this blog more and keep the chatter up. We are trimming back the sponsors to keep things simple so if anyone has a prize to donate, let me know. It's all about the pride, but a few prizes don't hurt either. Either way, get ready.
